​Sandro was bred at the well-regarded French breeding farm, Haras d’Amaury (the breeder of Kent Farrington’s Sherkan d’Amaury) in France. His sire is the world-renowned champion show jumper Quick Star, a Selle Francais ridden by Meredith Beerbaum. Quick Star is by Galoubet, a show jumping legend who ranks #4 on the 2012 WBFSH top jumping sire list.
Sandro’s dame line is also one of the best in the world. Lullaby d’Amaury is by Quidam de Revel, another show jumping legend and foundation Selle Francais stallion. Lullaby is the full sister to Bianca d’Amaury CSI/CSIO winner with Rodrigo Pessoa and Kama d’Amaury, CSI and Grand Prix winner in France, exported to the USA.

Sandro is an upper quality athlete that will make a perfect mount for an experienced amateur or a young professional.

Sandro has a proven show mileage in Child/Adult division with lots of potential to go higher with the right rider. Sandro is extra careful and produces consistent clean rounds.

Sandro competed in the 1m10- 1m20 young horse series and amateur classes in France before he was imported in July 2012. He is currently jumping clean rounds in 1m15-1m20 classes. At home, he has been schooled to 1m35, with ease. This very intelligent horse needs challenges to be kept interested in his everyday ring work.

Sandro possesses tremendous movement and power. He is a scopey jumper with an amazing hind end that requires a solid seat. He has his own engine, but does not pull or get strong; he is ridden in a Happy Mouth French link snaffle.
Outside of the ring, he loves going on the trails. He hacks alone or in group.

Sandro has a great mind and is not spooky. He is very sociable, people oriented. Sandro is often referred as a dog in a horse body !
He has great ground manners: he clips, baths, self-loads. He is an easy keeper, has strong legs and no health issue. UTD with all shots.
Sandro is sound, has no vices and has great ground manners. He has a full set of clean x-rays and PPE on file. Sandro comes with a lifetime USEF/USHJA registration.

Sandro has been put for sale, as he doesn’t fit in our breeding program anymore. He is a gelding and we are mostly showing our mares and homebred youngsters, so we have limited time for him. There is nothing wrong on his part.
With his show experience, Sandro is a turn-key 3’-3’9”Adult Amateur master.
