New Normandy Farm is a small and selective breeding and sales operation located in the heart of Pennsylvania horse country in Cochranville. We breed and train sport horses of French genetics, importing Selle Français horses as well as representing some of finest Selle Français stallion frozen semen.
We travel at least once a year to France in order to develop our network of breeders, always looking forward to discovering a new stallion or promising prospect of tomorrow. We also have several scouts who visit smaller breeders all year long.
Our breeding program was initiated with the goal of providing leading Selle Français bloodlines to the North American upper level jumper market. We produce athletes suitable for both the amateur and professional rider.
We provide a safe environment and proper handling procedures with individualized care, comprehensive pasture management, top quality feed and a strict maintenance schedule for the farrier, dentist and vaccinations.
If you choose to partner with one of our horses, you can be assured that he or she has received the best socialization, healthcare, nutrition and of course outstanding training.
The bloodlines of all our horses read like a who’s who of the Selle Français show jumper world: Quidam de Revel, Diamant de Semilly, Galoubet, Dollar du Murier, Ideal de la Loge, Quickstar, Olisco, Jalisco, Quito de Baussy, Kannan, Quaprice Bois Margot …
We raise only a handful of high quality foals each year, allowing us to give them all the time they need for early handling and socialization.
We only breed what we like to ride: chic, forward, smart, scopey, mentally well balanced jumpers. Our attention to detail is second to none as we are not a factory.
