Far West is a refined and modern horse with a long but tight back and a nice top line.  He has a nice conformation with 42% blood. He is also recommended for Eventing.

He has 50%  chance of producing a colored offspring. His offspring can be registered AES so sBs, BWP and Z.

When New Normandy Farm started its search for colored stallions, we were interested in being the first to discover the new generation of stars. FAR WEST DE LA VIOLLE was a name that kept coming back and we quickly understood we had to have him in our line up. We are very proud to introduce this stallion to the North American market for the first time.

Very successful under Nicolas Houzelle’ saddle, Far West is a must for any breeder interested in colored stallions but does want to compromise performance. Far West is a refined and modern horse, he has a correct conformation, very nice movement (3 nice gaits). He is very supple, intelligent with strength and scope. He is a very forward horse that always gets the job done. He has a very good temperament. Injured in 2023, we should see him slowly coming back in 2024.
